Spotted it today  when I was walking down the game aisle at my local
Wally-World (Super Wal-Mart).  Check out the "value" game row, where
all the jewel-cased CD-ROMs are located.  Paid $19.95 couple of months
back for the boxed version and now it's only $9.95!  Good news is that
it's definitely worth a ten-spot. If for no other reason than to play
GTR 2002.

I saw this post and went down to the local Wal-Mart and bought a copy of F1
2002 for ten dollars so I could try out GTR 2002.  One problem is that it
will not run on a system with Voodoo 3 card.  Guess I will have to wait for
my much needed upgrade before running this game.

Well, you're right. F1 2002 requires a card with hardare T&L, which,
unfortunately rules out the Voodoo lineup. You could probably get a
Geforce2 MX or Radeon 7500 for about $50 and run F1 2002 just fine.  I
know a $50 graphics card won't give you optimal FPS or the highest
quality at the highest detail settings, but it's  still very playable.
Plus you can still play GPL just fine with the D3D patch. (Running a
Geforce2 MX 400 w/ Cel 850 here.)

If you want to do better, then look at the Geforce4 MX440 DDR or jump
up to a Radeon 8500 or 9000.  Not much more $ nowadays and definitely
a speed improvement, even without a CPU upgrade.
