Based on your system I'd say either GPL or NR2002. IIRC the papy games have
support for the dual CPU's.  GPL is a full on sim to the core, so if your
not into that NR2002 has an arcade mode to tone things down. If you want to
go NASCAR based you may want to wait a month and go for NR2003.

Some other options are Rally Trophy should run real well on your setup since
there really is not AI to worry about. Another option would be NFS Porche
unleashed.

NFS Porsche - most fun, good variety, just enough realism.

smearing books with jam and tearing the pages."  - The Neverending Story

Does this thing run under WinXP yet?

I also never cared for the "Wyle-e-Coyote" driving arms...

I went out and bought F1 2002 as I liked the demo. I'm running this on Win2k
Sp3, DX8.1 using the Msoft Sidewinder FF wheel.

When I press the forcefeedback button on my Microsoft Sidewinder steering
wheel the wheel locks up and steers hard left!! The forcefeedback makes the
games usable! Any body got a fix or idea what might be causing this? There
don't seem to be any patches release for the game?
