Help: Zoom modem in Dos with N2

by Doug Border » Sat, 12 Apr 1997 04:00:00

I am pulling my hair out!

I have a zoom modem 33.6 SVD PnP that I just bought.

Win 95 sets it up on COM3, IRQ10.
There is a setport utility for Dos which I ran that also sets it up on
Com3 IRQ10.

When I restart in DOS and go to N2, the modem setup utility will not
give me IRQ10 as an option...why??.  I have tried manually setting it up
on COM2, but it just locks up then when I try to connect.

Any ideas?????

Thanks,

Doug Borders

I have a ZOOM 33.6 Comstar XT SDV modem and mine works fine.      The
Nascar 2 setip is MODEM = ZOOM V.34 (28.8), COM =  COM3, IRQ = IRQ4,
and speed = 19200.   I hope that helps.  Russ
