I have never, nor will I ever play GPL online, or off.  The only time I
tried it, ( the demo), it ran to slow on my 200 machine.  I just put the
bait on the trot line, and watched the feeding frenzy.  The one thing I
could not believe, was all the detectives that just knew they had the
answer.  And the language some of you children used, was uncalled for, but
then again, it was to be expected.  In closing I will just say, "Please
lighten up.  Life is too short to be worried about something as trivial as a
game."

Good day, and have a good life.

You're a very sad person Mike.
I wish you a good life too, whenever you get a life...

Well, I have been following the thread about "Cheating" with some concern as
I would really liked to have had an explanation on how something Andre has
described can be possible, but I found no real answer yet except for Remco
trying to put some pieces together. Still, I am puzzled by the consistency
of the falsly timed laps, even if the driver is a stable one, Internet will
*never* be so stable to reproduce a mistimed lap after another.  <scratch
scratch>
Concerning Mike Adams, it's basics that if you respond to someone who wants
a fight, you will surely get it, so what do we learn from it? Ignore,
Ignore, Ignore..........I once had a race on WON when suddenly some1 was out
to torpedo me as he was of the opinion that I had crashed him earlier.  He
stood there waiting for me lap after lap, trying to hit me, and didn't
succeed, so he tried it with chat, using some nice insults on and on and on,
but I kept driving on and on and on, he told me to answer, but I kept
driving and could just see him steaming, pounding on the table :))

I must admit to finding it amusing that you say "I just put out the bait"
when in reality you just went on and on and on for two or three days.  How
many posts was it you made?  30?  40?  50?  I suppose I could do a deja
search and find out exactly, but as you say: life is too short.

Bye.

You are absolutely right Markus, and your example says it all.
But sometimes it's so hard to ignore people like Mike. I try to reason
with people if they disagree with me, and sometimes I forget that some
people can't be reasoned with.

Well, anyway, I'm still curious too how this 59:xx thing could have
happened. According to Remco it was a typical problem of the server,
so I will drive mostly on that server from now on, hoping that it will
happen again, and that we can find an answer to this weird problem.

Oh, and Mike.... ***!!!

Damn, couldn't resist :)

Good advice Makki,  I have been trapped, sucked in on Won, more than once by
someone less than human.  Never again.

Ah, um, well actually I believe you are wrong on two points.  First of all,
life is not short, if you so choose, you can live forever - see the Gospel
of John, chapter 1, verse 12.  And secondly, GPL IS NOT TRIVIAL !!!    It
IS life.  "Everything else is just waiting..."
