I've been trying to confirm whether or not the Voodoo5 5500 AGP, retail,
graphics card has heatsinks and fans attached to the 2 GPUs. If not, can
anyone recommend a set (Tennmax Stealth 2?). Thanks.

Both heatsinks and fans on both GPU's. You have to connect the card to
the power supply in the system (4-pin) to make the fans run. I haven't
done any research in tempretures and overclockability yet, but it gets
rather warm. It would be interesting if the heatsink can be removed
and refitted with some nice silver compound i use for my CPU. :)

My Voodoo 5 5500 has two fans, hence the internal PC power supply connector.
These are OK unless you want to overclock, in which case the best fans you
can find I guess. I have used Tennmax in the past.

Tom,

In my opinion the stock heatsink/fans on the 5500  work just fine. I
replaced them with socket 7
heatsinks and used arctic silver heatsink compound and after doing all of
that I would get graphic
artifacts when trying to overclock the card. Bottom line, I now run the card
at it factory 166 megahertz
and it works just wonderful. I wish I had used the money I spent on
heatsinks on something
more useful like beer  :)
