Is there something in one of the patches, that is applied with the N2 track
pack, that will affect player car speed at talladega? Since installing the
tracks and patches I have lost 2-3 mph at talla.. only and haven't changed
the car at all. How and where can I change the numbers to try to get some
speed back?

Nothing should have changed. Though I recall some posts saying that
after installing the track pack some people felt their frame rate
dropped a few notches. Try turning off a few details and see if you
can't get your speed back this way. Talladega requires precise control
to obtain top speeds. A lower frame rate could rob you of this needed
control. [just another shot in the dark -- one of these days I'll hit
something <G>]
Also, when you re-calibrate, try shorting your gas (that is if you have
a wheel and pedal setup -- only press the throttle down 90-95%).
