you use your remote control gear. Or any devices that will enable the
remote control gear to work with any simulators...
Thanks

IIRC Serpent (of IC on-road fame) made a device which linked a
receiver to your joystick port. Only thing I can think of is how long
your Tx cells will last playing GP2...
OTOH, I bought a cheap transmitter and hacked two pots into it -
worked nicely, although the pots needed regular maintenance,
and cost me under a tenner. Superb for GP2, IndyCar2, GPL demo...
Now I've got to learn to drive GP2 with my new wheel and pedals!

I expect you are interested in PC simulator, but the
game Buggy on the Sony Playstation is exactly what
you want - even the standard analogue controller is like
a RC transmitter.

When in New Jersey on holiday recently (I live in the UK), I came across a
game on one of the piers (Morays pier?) which has all of the funfair type
rides.
They basically had a (real, physical) racing track, with a couple of RC cars
on it. These cars had small video cameras built into them.
You sat in an arcade style racing car seat, with pedals and steering wheel
and a VR helmet. The input from the video cameras was fed directly to the
helmet and the controls to the RC car.
Is this the first virtually real racing game? (pun intended)
Ben
PS - Unfortunately it was quite a cheap set up and so not very high def.
etc, but it was still pretty cool
