Adjusting rear-view mirror in N2

Adjusting rear-view mirror in N2

by Terrill Yuh » Sun, 22 Feb 1998 04:00:00

I applied the Touring cars patch to N2 and for the most part
everything has been working fine.  The only glitch I've run into is
that the for the rear-view mirrors, only the center one shows an
image.  Is there a way I can get the side-view mirrors to align
correctly?  I don't know if it's just on the ICR2 converted tracks or
not (using Portland as an example).  Someone told me there are MIRROR
entries in the trackname.txt files but I couldn't find any.

Thanks,

Terrill

You will have to add the entries for the mirrors in the track.text files.
There are a few sites that have the mirror fixes on them.  Can't remember
any off the top of my head.  Try thepits.
Good Luck.

Here are the mirrors I run in N2.  They are modeled after the mirrors in N1
and give you a good idea when a car has a fender up beside you.

MIRRL 0 0 8000 -1000000000 65536 100000 93592
MIRRC 0 0 8000           0 65536 100000 45888
MIRRR 0 0 8000  1000000000 65536 100000 93592

The lines go at the bottom of each of the trackname.txt files.  Just copy
the lines and paste them in.
