I don't know if our group is moderated or not but is there some way
that anyone out there can please, please block messages to do with the
friggen daytona patch before our shot at getting the real thing goes
boom.

I get sick of seeing this subject bounced around and possibly screwing
up the work of those who have invested countless hours etc into making
a real daytona track a reality.

Now on the other hand, if someone has a copy of the brickyard
converted to nascar that I can get, or a copy of it to send me ( I'll
even send a check to papy/sierra for it :)
There, now I've gone and proved what a hippocrite I am <G>

Seriously though, I only ask about brickyard as haven't seen much
about it causing legal probs like the daytona mess, but if it is then
apply my comments about tona/tega to it as well.
Sheesh, now i'm out of breath again :)

BLOCKING MESSAGES is CENSORSHIP - That is WRONG!!

Are we going to let Daytona threaten and entire newsgroup into censored silence.

Last time I checked I was still in America and this was a FREE SPEECH newsgroup.
If Daytona wants to NOT release their pathetic track to the non-sega owners of
the world ONLY because we are TALKING about a "patch" that no-one actually seems
to have - then DAYTONA CAN KISS MY ASS!!!

Besides - if Daytona does get all pissed off and withholds Daytona from NASCAR 2
then you can BET that someone will write a patch.  IMO I think they have NO
intention of ever releasing Daytona as a track add-on or as part of NASCAR 2.
They just leaked a rumor so they could threaten us into stop making hacks and
patches and talking about it.

After GP2 arrives its all a dead issue anyway....bye Daytona.....you suck and so
does your Spring Break!!
