Problems with Trust Formula 1 Master II

by Tore Skogl » Wed, 16 Feb 2000 04:00:00

I am a racing newbie, and wonder if anyone can help me with my problems.

I have problems configuring my Trust Formula 1 Master II multi function
steering wheel with accelerator and brake pedals.
When I have calibrated the Trust Formula 1 Master II according to the
manual, the cursor moves up and down in the test panel. When I try playing
Need For Speed II it is almost impossible to select any of the options, as
the cursor keeps moving up and down the menu, and clicking any button or
using the gear shift lever only puts the car in reverse.

Some more hardware information:

166 MHz Pentium MMX
48 MB RAM
Soundcard: Yamaha OPL3-SAx (updated drivers)

Can anyone help me??

It sounds like you have the wheel set to use split axis pedals in windows,
but maybe NFS only recognises combined axis pedals. When I start a game
that uses combined axis pedals but have my pedals set to split axis, the
cursor
just goes down and down.....
Try going into your wheels configuration software and selecting combined
axis
in the pedal settings...
