I is a very fun game but that is my opinion! Lots of Multiplayer options ,
too! Namely the Internet *** zone!

I recently test drove Sega Rally. It was fun for awhile, but I lost
interest pretty quick. Is MTM any good for that type of racing?
Thanks for the info!!!
John
Depends, you have a PP5000 with A LOT of memory just sitting around + you
have an attention span that would astound a chess champion?? If you
answer yes, than sure, it's good. If you answer no to any of the above,
than *BEWARE* the game stinks. I wish I never bought it now. I have a
P75(stop laughing!!!) and I opened up 200 (give or take a few...I think)
mb of memory and put it in. It runs terrible, theonly good thing is the
range of trucks. Oh well, In all fairness to Microsoft(Did I just say
Fairness and Microsoft in the same sentence???) They did a good job
making the trucks, but everything else just bites! I'd play Sega Rally
hours more than this! Hope I helped..cya...
I have to say that if you have a fast system and a 3Dfx card, MTM is a
riot. Since the track editor has been released their are dozens of
user-created tracks out there. Some of them are surprisingly good.
My son and I play this game networked and have a great time with it.
It is not a "serious" simulation of course. This is more of an
off-road "Need for Speed". I have only tried the demo and Saturn
versions of Sega Rally, but I found it to be ugly and choppy. In
addition, the control seems very unrealistic to me. At least the
throttle/brake/steering interaction in MTM seems to make sense. MTM
does have a few strange "artifacts". For example, the shadow of your
truck (seen during replays) seems to rotate to face the sun. It's not
aligned with the truck. Also, the rear view should point downward
when the nose of the truck points up but instead it points up.
Best Wishes,

Well you certainly helped me, 'cause I was going to buy it! Almost did
this past weekend. Thanks.

good.
Do buy it! It is great fun. Not what would be considered a hard core sim
these days, of course, but it has a pretty decent driving model for all
that.
NB: Anyone who knew and loved Stunt Car Racer should check out MTM. Until
GC produces SCR2, this is the closest you will get <g>

rubbish.
had a p90, and played mtm loads. even better now that there are many new
tracks out there. just ubgraded to a p166+ and of course it flies, great
in hi-res.
if you have a steering wheel, you'll love it. of course, you could just
try the demo version first...
