NC-1/NC-2 phisics question

by Michael A. Barlo » Sun, 03 Nov 1996 04:00:00

I have NCR-1 and have raced on hawaii many times and know the differance in racing
setups between the two.

I have just got my car setup at WGI for lap times around 117.XXX and is stable as can
be with NC-1. It took me since Nascar-1 came out to get things perfect for me. I have
been playing around with other tracks -pluss- I never had time to get setup every day is
the reason for taking so long.

   My Question is...

With Nascar-2 coming out, Will it have the same phisics as Hawaii where I will have
to RE-setup for WGI with the MULTI.EXE phisics?  Or at least, Will the differance from
NC-1 and -2 be slight enough to make just some smaller changes? Or what can I expect??

Thanks in advance,
mikeBa

NASCAR 2 will have the same physics as MULTI.EXE. Believe me, this is much
better than the old NCR 1 physics, as the car is much more stable and it
won't tighten up on you after a few laps.

Michael, using your setup for Atlanta in Nas1 load it so it is the default. Then copy the
default file from Nas1 to the demo of Nas2 into the Atlanta track and run it. You might first
want to run their setup and then compare your to theirs. I think you will answer your
question. By the way I ran faster on Nas2 with my Nas1 setup for Atlanta. Although I couldn't
tell you the speeds for the laps, my cornering speeds were a couple of miles per hour
quicker. I am running mid 188's on Nas1 with race setup off line so it should be interstion
with Nas2.
