Trouble logging on N 2003

Is this a patch problem? Recently I've had "trouble" logging on to on-line
races through race sierra. I will log on and it will hang in the
authentication phase. I've notice this when I switch between mods ( Cup,
NBS, CTS). Usually if I exit to desktop and start N 2003 again I will get
the race list with no problem.
Anyone else experience this> BTW I'm using Roadrunner cable connection.

Also how do I get the F2 radio from "interval" to "postion"... I misplaced
my manual and I can't remember..

Spacebar    Switching mods on the fly may not be the best idea.
Probably the server still thinks you are connected to the Cup races and
your trying to log onto a CTS race results in a duplication.  Just my
guess, try the sierra forums to see if others are experiencing the same
problem.

Like Dave said, you might be going too fast (before sierra can remove the
client).  restarting the whole app might be taking just long enough?  You on
XP, 98, or 2000?  Im on XP but I never see this problem due just to
switching mods (that I know of), but Im slow even when I might be in a
hurry, and Im on dialup.  Reason I asked about OS, io maybe the ini file
that has to be written & read when you change series, but it isnt?  so that
in effect your trying to logon to CTS serverlist, but the ini still points
to CUP?  which might be causing some error.  last, it could just be
coincidence, at certain times of the day servers get busy?  I have had
trouble loggin in once in a while (time out).  but Trucks is about all I
race, least at papy.
