"A bit more OT";
My brother just visited from Germany, and while I was showing
him GPL and F1RS he mentioned that Shumacker is a huge
star over there, constantly in the news. He said the buzz is that Shumacker
wants to get a wheel with built in throttle and brake
so that he can still race, even with a broken leg.

But we are talking about Michael Schumacher here, so Im sure the F1 Mafia
will help the FIA decide to let him race whatever he pass or not the
15second out-of-cockpit safety test. Im serious here !

and charlie whiting (medical cheif/technical chief fia) made ricardo zonta
jump up and down on the spot before letting him into a car, the pain was too
much, so he rested a while longer....he broke his legs in brazil earlier
this year.

BTW, on his showing in the German GP, Salo is already better than Eddie
Irvine even though it's only his second race in the car!
I guess David Coulthard's performances this year show that the driver
can make a big difference - which is unfortunate for him and Hakkinen!
I wish I could get a straight answer on this subject. I'd like to buy a
high quality FF wheel. I currently own a Logitech Wingman Formula Force
and it works great, but I would like the heft a quality wheel provides.
Thomas.... are you or are you not working on a force feedback wheel? If
you are, thank you and good luck.

DC seems to be able to lap at almost the same speed, but he's much more
accident-prone and isn't as good at overtaking.
I'd say his tactical nous is pretty non-existent as well!
On the other hand he has that racing-driver's chin (remember Peter
Perfect in Wacky Races?) - that's probably what swung it for him! ;-)
