How about, instead of charging people for every hour they are on when the 800
number is available, you charge them a monthly fee. About $20 to $30 bucks a
month for unlimited access.

The only thing wrong with this idea is that they can't guarantee access 100%
of the time to the service due to possible 100% caller capacity.  While we
can't possibly foresee what Sierra will do with the pay schedules, I would
like to see yearly membership dues ($75?) and semi-yearly dues ($50) and maybe
$1.50 per hour usage rates.

Logistics (billing) will cost Sierra quite a bit because I assume that a lot
of people (kids) won't have credit cards or checking accounts to bill
automatically.

I guess that we'll all just have to sit back and see what happens...

What are the fees for the sierra network?
Seems like the papyrus fees should be similar.

Then again, I don't think they should let "kids" have membership.
"Kids" that just logon, get in a race and wreck everybody everytime
over and over again.  People who are willing to learn, yes!  But not
***holes.

Last I "heard" they were pretty expensive.  Be a LONG time (if ever) we
would see it for $20 or $30 a month unlimited access.  I'm very surprised
it isn't showing up on the Sierra network.   Probably, because of the
latency requirements.  (IMO)
I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the price plan is going to
be.   My bet is, it's going to be more expensive than most people will
think.
