Why is there no Daytona?

I just found this site so if the answer to my question has been answered before
please forgive me. I have owned NASCAR Racing for a while now. It is probally
the funnest racing sim I have ever played. But, why is there no Daytona? The
biggest race and the greatest track on the WC circuit? Does Papyrus plan on
releasing it later like they did with Indy and ICR1? Any info?

They (Papyrus) do not have liscenceing rights to the track, I beleive.  I
think SEGA has the rights (DAYTONA USA).
