REQ: Saving a race ?

by Sonn » Thu, 02 Jan 1997 04:00:00

   Hi,
Name here is Sonny. If I want to run the races and 100% length is
there a way to save the race if I don't have the time to finish the
whole thing? It doesn't make sense that they wouldn't incorporate this
feature in the game. Any help Please e-mail:

Thank you and Happy New Year.

I agree it doesn't make sense AND this option did exist in Nascar 1.0 but
for some very questionable reason, they chose not to include this in Nascar
2.0.  To expect people to sit for 5 hours (or at a minimum leave their
computer on continuously) is ludicrous!  There may be a few die hards who
do this once or twice in there simulation career but I can tell you without
a doubt, the vast majority of Nascar 2.0 purchasers WILL NOT!  This is one
of several very questionable decisions made by the design team.

Yes, that is his address, but further complaining about no save game
won't change anything. Papyrus is looking into the save game issue,
and SOMETHING will VERY likely come of it.

More complaints will neither increase nor decrease the likelyhood of
this being fixed. It is of course a free country, and you are free to
continue to e-mail him about it, but it won't do any further good.

The less time he has to spend reading the ump***th complaint about
save game, the more time he has to read other comments and
complaints...
