How is this time? I got it with a Williams, but I got a 128 with a
Benneton. Wierd, maybe its just mental.

I managed to get down to 1:24.770 before I moved on to another track. F7
is the only aid used. Steering help and Opposite lock turned off,
flightstick for steering with keyboard for throttle and brakes. Oh, and
the car - Simtek.

Some other times (all NSA but with F7)

Spa     - 2:02:847 (Didn't run many laps)
Monza   - 1:26.524
Pacific - 1:15.674 (Default setup with less than five laps run)
Imola   - 1:23.013 (Some serious time spent at this track)

I have set the opposition at semi-pro, and am finding it tough going. I
have yet to achieve a pole position, and yet to complete more than ten
laps in race trim without a spin.

Hi!

Here is some of my best times for comparison:

Canada qualifying:  1.23.247 (pole at semi pro)
Monza Practice      1.23.388
Spa Practice        1.56.313
Imola qual.         1.23.075
Hockenheim qual.                                1.43.651 (pole at semi pro)
SilverStone prac.   1.27.554
Adelaide prac.      1.17.310 (Shit it's slippery)
Brazil prac.        1.17.726

I'm driving with keyboard. No helpers.
Well, I got to go tuning some more, I'm still slow compared to best
times posted here.

If you are steering with the keyboard you *are* using steering help.
