F1CS2000 Mid-race save?

Sorry to be dim, and maybe I'm just missing something obvious, but is there
a way to save mid-race? Unfortunately I don't have time to sit and do 100%
distance in one go, so I'll be disappointed if there isn't.

No save, but you could change the tire and fuel wear/consumption to simulate
the full length race.  If you can only run for an hour, increase the tire
and fuel usage till you still have to make two pitstops.  At least then the
race strategy comes into play.

I do 26% races and set the tire wear and fuel consumption to 4X.
