An idea for a racing game.   You have a car shop, and can buy cars out of the paper
and yo put it together and then hit the street for racing.  I want to know what people think of this
proposed game.

Howdy:

        Way back when (at least 4 years ago), I remember playing this
type of a game.  You could buy whole cars, or parts, out of a newspaper,
and then go to a restraunt to meet others to race.  There was a drag
race and a road race, and you could race for $20, or for pink slips.  I
think an update of this concept would be great.

It already exists,  I used to have it about 4 years
ago.....unfortunately,  I can't remember the name of the game but it
was a drag racing game....It was cool  ! ! ! ! Scott

Could it be Street Rod?

The game was called Steet Rod 2 not a bad game for the time as i recall

Yeah , I remember the Game !... I played it to death on the Amiga.
It would be great to see a new version of it.
If you won the "pink slips" race you got your opponent's car, then***out the engine and
put it in your own.
Altogether with Top Chops , paint jobs etc..

Think about multiplayer "Street Rod 3 " !

This would be too cool!!! It would be like living in the movie "American
Graffiti" we could maybe cruise the net in our Street Rod and if you
wanted to race someone for money you could actually get credit for hours
or something. Racing for pinks would mean you could never have that car
again.
