Hi, Mark,

Here in Seattle, I've been contending with my nemesis <Gianni ***bath> in a
series of races we call "Gran Prix-mageddon."  The race field pulls away from
the start grid, and Gianni and I turn around to race backwards thru the oncoming
cars. The object is still to win the race, but we also award points for various
bits of damage, both to our own cars and to the AI cars.

I guarantee lotza fun, and a handy release from the "normal" pressures of GPL.

Good luck with the series,
from your friend in the aether,

Smogbike

Sounds like fun Smog :-).
The whole idea here has come about as a result of two things.

1. As you say, a bit of light hearted fun as a diversion from normal league
activities.

1. As a result of being totally pissed off with having F1 cars wrecking what
would otherwise have been a great number of competitive F3 races. This has
become an all too regular occurence and source of irritation to F3 racers on
GSB. These bandits invariably seem to be the type that can only lap the Glen
in 1:15, and have trouble keeping it on the road for more than 5 corners at
a time. ......Fastest enough to get pole and wreck lap records on the front
page, but too incompetent not to take half the following pack out within 30
seconds of the start.
