said individuals, the benefits of PAYING for something...the feeling
of warmth one gets, the sense of pride, and the knowledge that some

Having said all that, perhaps we should just relate to them the easiest

Neither did I till now, there is a program on the net called N2HQ,
short for Nascar 2 Headquarters, which was written by a fellow in a
couple of the offline leagues I run in. Totally free program, works
great, will work with N99 but have to edit the setup file to the stg
extension, then after changing it in the HQ rename it back to the .ttg
extension to use for trucks. For cars it works fine.

It is a full setup editor that asks questions and adjusts setup based
on your answers.

So what then is this N99 Headquarters?

Hey, that's close to what I call my step-daughter's
"boyfriend." It's a long name that I only recently put to paper. My
pool team will ask me about him just before I make a tough shot since
it riles me up so quickly.

"worthless-piece-o-shittin-sorry-little-no-good-no-load-self-centered-worthless-little-***in-BASTARD"
(the emphasis is important). Never realized till I wrote it down I
was saying "worthless" twice. Hmmm... must mean something... That
new song by the Offspring "Why Don't You Just Get a Job" would always
get cranked to concert levels whenever it came on the radio. I even
had my stepdaughter listen to it. Now whenever she's with her
boyfriend and hears it she starts laughing uncontrollably - it's even
MORE funny since he likes the song, too, but doesn't make the
connection!!!
To be fair he now has a job working 30 hours a week. Looks
like now (at *19*) he'll finally get that piece of paper that PROVES
W-2 is NOT a Star Wars character!

N2HQ is a predecessor to NRHQ (which I assume is what they mean when
talking about N99HQ). Yes, N2hq is totally free, but it doesn't work
quite well with NR99.

It doesn't, what am I doing right then??

Have been using it with N99 all along, just for trucks have to rename
the setup to name.stg, then rename the edited one back to name.ttg for
trucks. Just had to tell it where to find N99 and all was smooth.

Notice I said N2hq doesn't work that well with NR99, and not N2hq
doesn't work with NR99. For the most part, N2hq works fine with NR99,
but there are a few problems here and there, if you use N2hq on NR99,
due to the differences between N2 and NR99. If you find ways to work
around it, that's just fine.
