I just bought this game and I am currently running version 1.03.

My question is this....is there a patch to fix the load times between runs? My
computer is no slouch (AMD-K6 350/128 RAM/ Banshee 16)  and it takes 30 seconds
to load between each run. Any fixes or will I be deleting from my hard drive?

My computer is faster than yours and it takes just as long.  I guess you will
have to delete it.

No, there is not fix for that.  I have a P2 450 128 m/ram and my
load times are similiar.  Sometimes longer, sometimes shorter.
There is no ryhme or reason for the difference in load times.
Great game however, but becoming to easy.  I stumbled onto a tuneup
that will win most races with just makeing the changes for the different
conditions.  I won the first nine races of the season, without smoking the tires
once, even in qualifying.   That is consistent.  The sad part about it all tough
thought is that Cory Mac is still only 12 rounds behind me in the points.

I found a big difference when I switched from PCI to AGP, plus
using 10,000 rpm SCSI U2W drives. Not sure which change made the
difference but I do recall that load times with AGP cards were faster.
