Way to go, Geoff !!

Hello all,

I have recently purchased GP2, and what a great game it is !! I can't believe how
difficult it is. The days of lapping everyone up to 3rd place in Ace-mode are gone
forever. :)

I seem to have a copy in which Damon really has bad luck. I've seen him blow up an
engine, go out with a flat and simply make a mistake going off at the Parabolica in
Monza overtaking Barrichello !!

I have configured the game so that everything can break on my car, but nothing seems
to go wrong (besides my own driving errors). That's not very realistic, because I'm
driving a Ferrari !!

Today, I crashed at Parabolica myself, ripping off my front wing AND my 2 front
wheels. When I was trying to get back to the pit (!!!!), Alboreto hit me really hard,
and my monocoque came off the car !! I was sitting in the***pit (which was lying in
the pit) and the backside of my Ferrari was on the track !! COOL !! However, it's a
shame that camera view switches to***pit-mode, when you get near to the pit ...

I also have noticed some strange behaviour in the***pit. I have set the option to
show speeds in KPH, not MPH (hey, I live in Belgium !!), and sometimes when I cross
the finish-line, a yellow light goes on and the "K" of "KPH" turns into, well,
something between an "M" and an "N" !! Has anyone else noticed this ??

Being a software-programmer myself (not games, unfortunately) I must say that this is
one hell, state-of-the-art, kick-ass game. Without any doubt the best game I have
ever seen (and I have seen a lot, I used to have a C64 and an Amiga 500 ... those
were the days) Definately worth the buy ...

                                WAY TO GO GEOFF !!!!!!

Greetinx,

Spencer
