Racing school can be dangerous

I went to the Derek Daly Racing School on LV.  We went no faster then 95
mph in a formula 2000 type car.  We drove an oval and road course with
no walls to hit in the turns, besides doing accident avoidance
simulation and skid car training in a BMW.  Very safe, very instructive,
and very fun.  Sounds like the school on NC didn't take enough
precautions.  I would be very suspicious of putting a beginner in a car
that goes 165 mph, instructor or not.

I ran at Firebird at Bondurant.  There is really only one place there to
run into stuff.  Our top speeds were less than 110 in a Formula Ford
2000.  IMO, 165 is way too faste for a novice.
