Is Nascar2 supposed to be optimized for this
card also, or only IndyCar2.  I have a PPro 200
w/ 4 mg Matrox Card. I'm happy with frame
rates (except that the Nascar2 demo doesn't run
as fast on my computer as Indycar2?), but am
looking for optimine clarity and effects.

Should I get the card!?!

Thanks,  Hank

Yes, Nascar2 will be Rendition Ready.  The Intergraph card is not as fast
as your Matrox in Windows or DOS VGA, but their VESA 2.0 SVGA speeds should
be similar.  As for weather you should get one, that depends.  Can you
sacrifice some performance for the advantage of the 3D acceleration?  You
really do need a 3D card, but that could be in the form of an add-on Voodoo
card or the replacement Rendition cards.  Keeping in mind the Voodoo cards
will be faster for Direct3D titles, how badly do you want support for
Rendition Ready titles?  I had a slow ATI card which I wanted to replace
anyway, so the Intergraph card was the perfect solution.  I still may add a
Voodoo card for faster Direct3D support as more games start using it.
Unfortunately, your choice is not as straight forward as mine was.

NASCAR 2 will support the Intergraph and all other Rendition Verite boards
out of the box.
