I got two questions, one, do these tracks just have the names on the walls
with California and Texas, or do they have different characteristics from
C***te and Michigan?  2nd, if they do, please send them to me!  Thanks.

Since no one has figured out how to actually make a track I'd say they
just have Texas/California on the walls.

On my Daytona, California, and Texas the creator took Taladega,
Michigan, and C***te from N1 and painted the walls, then converted to
N2.  NO I WILL NOT SEND THEM TO YOU...

First of all, who in their RIGHT mind would want Tally from N1?  That
track is
not an accurate representation of the real track.  Just because it has
"Daytona"
on the walls doesn't make it so.

Translation: Nobody has cracked the new file structure yet.  If they have,
they
haven't let on.  :)

Actually I made a test track for "California"

I simply copied Michigan over to California.  I didn't change the
graphics
at all because the "look" isn't want I wanted to be different.

According to the guys on ESPN California has less banking then Michigan
yet
will provide faster racing due to track conditions (I.E. So. Cal doesn't
go below freezing very often) This means the track will stay smooth over
the years.

My task was to make Nascar2 able to turn laps faster at California then
those at Michigan while retaining the same track dimensions.

After a couple of tests (I was driving UNDER the asphalt) I found where
the banking is stored and INCREASED it a little.

This did in fact make the car handle different, and lap speeds got
faster.
