Headphones for GPL???????

Ok dudes

I just received a phonecall from my upstairs neighbour, she doesnt
enjoy the sound of GPL at 01:00. So I decided to maybe give headphoned
a try. Which headphones do you use? Which are the best for the Ferrari
engine sound in GPL?

Thomas, I doubt you have Radio Shack in Denmark, but I found a very nice set
of "walkman" type headphones there, with Titanium drivers and a volume
control, during one of their 1/2 price sales. The phones only cost me $12.00
US and work quite well with GPL. I have been looking at some enclosed Sony
headphones though.

I do miss having the use of the sub-woofer when I use headphones.

AKG K-300.

Ultimate enclosed headphone price/perfomance choice (great for music too),
IMO.

I invested in some stunningly good HD580's just before Xmas. Well worth
the money (about 100ukp/150usd). The sound quality is amazing, a huge
improvement over my worn out (quite literally!) HD 480's.

I got a pair of Aiwa enclosed phones and they work quite well.  The price is
right too for only about $35 USD.

haha you're the man!  i use HD545 and RS4 wireless for all ***.  The
wireless sets are very nice nowadays.
http://www.racesimcentral.net/  or http://www.racesimcentral.net/ usually have good
sennh deals.  The 545s were 'refurb' for $90 and good as new.

Koss PortaPro.  Very light, awesome sound for an "open" design.  I've owned
a few pairs since the mid-80s for portable use and home audio.  I hate
closed designs... like to hear the phone ring or the wife coming into the
room :-)

Lifetime warranty, they replaced my earpads for the cost of shipping ($5 or
so).

I have a pair of Koss sw-30's that have served me well for the past 3 yrs.
Good sound range(more base then lighter headphones) reliable boom mic for
Roger Wilco and they're durable.  Got mine for under $40.  Radio Shack was
selling the same headset only they are black and carry the Optimus name.
I bought mine when my neighbor said he thought he heard a thunder storm
approaching one night and closed his windows.  I confessed it was me flying
around blowing stuff up on my PC.

Unless you have one of those "Hands Free" cell phone
gadgets on your dashboard, I suggest you just stop
answering the phone while driving!    ;);)

I use perfectly ordinary Walkman headphones. I do have a pair of big-time
Sennheisers, but I find they're overkill for something like this.

I just know i'll be at lest 5 seconds faster at the ring with a wireless
headset ;)

I have the Sony MDR-V600. Superb sound, which I didn't really discover until
I used them on my stereo - made my audiophile (but very old) Time Window
speakers sound shabby by comparsion.

You can find them from online sellers for around $100, which is a great
price for the sound quality you get.
