THis is the first racing sim that I ever played. Can someone e-mail me a
FAQ or some hints on how to set up the car. Any help would be appreciated.

You'll find the N2 FAQ at:

  http://www.sequoia-dev.com/Hawaii/Features/N2FAQ.txt

You'll find a setup guide at:

  http://www.sequoia-dev.com/Hawaii/Features/setupguide.html

However, if this is the first racing sim you've played, you would be far
better served to just practice with the EASY or FAST setups for awhile
before you start fiddling with your own setups. About 99% of your speed
will come from driving a consistent line around the track, it's the last 1%
that you get from the setup.

 Hi Dave,
I don't know if I would relegate setup to the last one percent. Seems to
me that it's a lot bigger factor. Not to diminish the idea of the smooth and
consistent line, I would only agree with the one percent if you agree that
THAT one percent is the difference between first and lapped!!:)
I'd hate to think that I've spent all that darn time minutely tweaking
shock settings for nothing! If my wife knew  she'd kill me!!

I'll stick by that 1 percent, maybe 2 percent tops. And yes, that 1 or 2
percent is the difference between first and lapped. I think it was at the
Bristol race, they calculated the distance between first on the grid and
last on the grid (less provisionals, obviously) and it turned about to be
about 18 inches.

I know the feeling. Rest assured, I would never squeal on a fellow racer, I
have a wife, too. Thank goodness she hasn't discovered this newsgroup yet.
