Does anyone know how to create a calendar file for the 1996 season,
meaning what column represents what in the file. And what happens if you
have tracks that don't really exist. Also is there a way to shut off
point tabulations so you can incklude events like the Busch Clash, (if
there was or ever will be a Daytona) or The Winston Select All-Star event.

Any info is appreciated.

The columns in the calendar file represent (in order) Month,Day,First or
second race in season, Day or Night race,Directory & track file name.
Month & day easy to figure out.  First or second race: in the (track).txt
file two race lengths are included.  This selects which one is used for
this track (0=first race, 1=second race).  Day or Night race: 0=day,
1=night.  Directory & file name: This is where the track file is located.
If a track doesn't exist it will not show up in the game.  No other data
is in the calendar file so it would be imposible to turn off points or do
any other features.  Hope this helps.

It's easy to change the calendar files.  I use Microsoft word to edit
them.  I have created many files for BGN, WC, and even an IROC
championship season file.
