I went out to the www.zone.com site tonight and got a unexpected
surprise. I read a notice that the site is being worked on and that
Netscape will not work. So when I left the site (or tried to), I was
knockd offline and my browser closed. if you go out there, all I can say
is YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Me thinks the same team who worked on the Zone also
dabbled in Win98? ;)

Great to see Billy boy and assistant showing off Win 98 on TV the
other day only for it to crash. LOL. A red faced Billy said "That's why
we haven't put that one on the shelves yet!". Yeah right Bill, as if
that makes a difference. Where's those pies?

Just to clarify....WWW.ZONE.COM has always stated that it won't work with
netscape. as for your system crashing when you left I have serious doubts that
it had anything to do with the site.

BTW has anyone managed to run NASCAR 2 there? I did it once or twice last
summer but haven't been able to since.

True, it has always told us that.  However, I too recently went out
there & after having read their notice of incompatibility with Netscape,
my browser was also promptly shut down.  If you don't believe me, fire
up your Netscape & shoot on over yourself!

Up yours, Mr Gates!!!

I remember going to the zone. DLed IE4 which consequently took over
everything. At the time, 5 months ago now, they said Netscape would be
supported soon. What a joke!

That is precisely the reason I went there with my Netscape in the first
place!  I was checking to see if they ever finished support for Netscape
Navigator, because I would never let that offspring-of-the-Devil IE4
anywhere NEAR my machine.  When it shut me down, I was absolutely
appalled.  Sure, they have a right to limit access to THEIR site to
users of THEIR products if they so wish, but the have NO RIGHT in hell
to shut down the browsers of ANYONE.

There.  Feel better now.  Thanx ;^)

Try out the new Zone during its Beta period. Easier to use with Netscape
support, the new Zone will be part of your *** world very soon.

Thanks for the tip George. But since I'm now VERY sceptical about MS
I'll just say "I'll believe it when I see it!".
