meg of Ram and a ! meg Video card in 640by480.With all graphics and all
cars and 16 ahead and 3 behind and 2 heard.I have no problem with running

Turn on all the graphics except one (which is set to auto).  It can be
any texture, but wall or track textures are easy to spot.  Set the
min/max number the same and go run some laps.  If the texture is always
on or off, the number you picked is either too low or high.  Increase
or decrease it until the texture flickers on and off.  The number that
achieves this is your fps.
