Hi All,
I read a post on here sometime ago that turning of the Motec telemetry in
GTR will dramatically improve framerates.
Is there a hot key in the sim that turns it on and off?

Pretty sure that referred to just turning off the digital motec dash display
while you're driving - look in your controller setup for the assigned toggle
key, or search for "motec" in your PLR file and set the display to off
manually.
