T2 gas pedel

T2 gas pedel

See my post elsewhere in this newsgroup.  I had the same problem (with
I76) but it, and all my other T2 problems, were fixed by buying a
Thrustmaster ACM speed-adjustable game card and calibrating it using
TMScope.

T2 gas pedel

I just installed a T2 on my system after all the talk
I've heard about it on this newsgroup.  I can't seem to get it to
calibrate properly.  I'm running a P166, 64Mbram, Blaster 3D PCI
4mb.  The T2 is running on my Sound Blaster game port. I've
configured it in win95 as a 2 axis, 4 button joystick.  Problem
is that during calibartion the gas pedel moves only a slight
amount on the screen for most of the travel, then jumps to full
open position at the last bit of travel. Kind of makes the
throttle an on/off switch (good for drag racing but not NASCAR).
I'm running N2 with both of the recent patches.  Any help on this
would be appreciated.

I had the same problem with mine.  I went in and adjuste the pots.  You
will need TMscope.  You can get this off of Thurstmaster's web site.  IG
you want more information of how to do this let me know and I will let
you know.

Keith, I missed your earlier post.  Could you email it to
me?

I think I've solved the problem after searching the
Microsoft Knowledge base on a seperate problem I was having with
Monster Truck Madness.  Anyway, the T2 is to be calibrated in
Win95 as a "custom" 2 axis, 4 button joystick.  By selecting
custom in the control panel/joystick setup, an additional window
comes up that lets you specify "race car controller".  It cured
my problem listed above as well as the problem I had in MTM.  The
T2 should not be calibrated as a regular "2 axis, 4 button
joystick"
