I've been away for a while due to moving house etc...and having PC stolen!!!
Have finally gotten arund to installing GPL on the new beast and alas I have
a problem. I am running an Aopen AX34 Pri II M/board with PIII 800, 128 Mb
RAM and NVIDIA Geforce II MX 32Mb AGP. The best frame rate I've got in
OpenGL format is 12fps but the game crashes as soon as I get in the car or
else it locks up. In D3D the problem is simialr. Occaisonally the menu
screens drop half way down the monitor meaning I have to use the Esc key to
get back to windows. I have tried a fres install and problem still there.
The system & video cards are not overclocked.
If someone could offer some advice I would appreciate it. I've been looking
forward to catching up with Eldred again now that I have a nice new steering
wheel...seems I cld be waiting a bit tho.
