Software Engineer (3D Art Tools) Position:

Location: Boston Area, MA
Duration: PERM
Pay Rate: OPEN

Requirements: The ideal individual will have solid programming skills
in C and C++ and have at least 2-3 years of Computer Graphics and/or
Dos or Windows development experience. Will be responsible for
maintenance, upgrading, and enhancement of a variety of existing 2d
and 3d graphics tools running in Dos or Win95, and development of new
tools to work with in-house graphics libraries in Win32.  The Art
Tools provide the functionality to design, build, and view 3d
race track environments used in racing games.

Experience using or programming 3d modeling/animation and 2d paint
software tools. Familiarity with computer graphics algorithms, linear
algebra, file format conversion.
Experience programming with a 3d graphics library (such as OpenGL).
CAD experience is helpful Architecture background is helpful - proven
ability to work with 3D modeling issues is a plus.
Art background is helpful -  we're hoping for someone who thinks like
an artist enough to be able to anticipate what kinds of controls
artists will need in their software.
Attention to detail is a must.   Individual must be able to work
accurately with little supervision and quality test her or his own
work. Visual C++, ClearCase, Watcom
