hundreds of people who could spend their time making tracks just as good
or better than Papyrus, on their own time. Papyrus might think of
spending more of their resources on AI and actual car physics.
Just look at all the people who make planes, scenery, adventures, and
utilities in MS Flight Sim 5 and 6. All free or shareware. So, the
customer greatly enhances the sim, which makes the sim more popular,
which sells more. BTW you pretty much need the cd to take full
advantage, which stops the "hey you can copy my game buddy"
Sounds like smart business to me.
