Q: N1: Chevy vs. Pontiac vs. Ford

This question has probably been answered in many FAQs but
nonetheless..

What is the difference between the cars in Nascar 1? Driving
around Watkins Glen using my own setup, Chevrolet seems to be running fast
turns easier than Pontiac, but I'd rather have a bit more exact
information. Can any of the cars be considered "the best"?

Here's how the cars in N1 work.

The Ford has more downforce at the front, and it works best on the
handling tracks.
The Chevy has more downforce at the rear, and it makes a better
superspeedway car.
The Pontiac has about equal downforce at the front and rear, so it works
decent about anywhere.

I ran a Chevy or a Pontiac in N1, and the Chevy performs a tick better
than the Pontiac.

All 3 cars have the same drag, the difference is in the downforce. The
Chevy has more rear downforce, the Ford has more front downforce, and the
Pontiac is balanced front and rear. Ford or Pontiac is a better choice for
a novice, the Chevy is just a bit twitchy coming off the corners.
