Has anybody got this to work.  In the Multiplayer connect screen,
(when playing in Zone LAN on Microsoft's Internet *** Zone) the
cursor is very choppy and it will not reach the connect button.  Any
help on this matter will save my buddies and I another 2 hours of
frustration.  Thanks!

I don't know but if you find out ...pass the word.
I agree with your frustration..been trying to get it to work also.

This was a bug in the old, N2 3dfx versions.  As far as I've been  able
to tell, it was fixed with the final release in N1999.

Any chance you got the *.exe's mixed up?
