Hi,

I'am pretty new on usenet (well I've actually been away for almost 6
years, that's about the same!). I'm looking for a newsgroup for
Microprose's Grand Prix 2 game. This group looks like the place for it,
but I noticed there are virually no discussion going on on GP2. Is there
another newsgroup for GP2, or is GP2 already history?

This is the newsgroup for GP2.  It's not quite history, though of late
there has been alot of discussion of Grand Prix Legends (GPL) and the
"pre-alpha" demo released.  Also, many people have found Formula 1
Racing Simulation of UbiSoft to be a suitable new release to upstage
GP2.  However, if you have any questions or comments you wish to make
about GP2 here in r.a.s., fire away.  There are still quite a number of
readers here who still find GP2 to be their top sim of choice.

Hello Fred,

GP2 on its own isn't exactly brand new anymore. That's why it drowns in messages
about other simulators over here at the moment. This does in no way mean that
GP2 is DEAD, though! There are hundreds of websites out there. In case you
didn't know them, you're in for a pleasant surprise.
