F1RS - CD required in Drive?

I installed the full F1RS version( 187 mb)

The program asks if I have the CD in the drive ! It is very insistent !
Is there a "No CD Rom" program available? (similar to GP2)

It is probably looking for the intro, which is on the CD.

No, because you can replace the AVIs with shorter copies on the HD.
There must be another CD check internally.

program > available?

What is wrong with keeping the CD in the drive ?
Please don't pirate the game as it is one of the best, if not the very
best, simulation available. Well worth the money. Support good software
with your wallet !

Performance hit for one! If you switch frequently between different
games,
it will***you off! Is that enough?

Please don't accuse other people of pirating because of a post like his.
The real pirates won't post here, it's the paying customer who is bugged
by this kind of copy protection.

In my experience the game moves between option screens four times as fast with the NO_CD patch. I wish I knew where I could get one for 1.09.
