What about the Spirit of Speed / Nascar Heat project? Is that gone the
way of the dinosoar as well, like the IRL Heat project?

The Spirit Of Heat mod is alive and kicking -- we've got the physics
just about dialed-in, with several GPL folks on-board as testers.  You

Take it from a beta tester, Spirit of Heat is
alive and well.  And a hoot to drive.  

The Spirit of Speed Offline Challenge is just
relaxed realism fun for fans of SoS.

The real link between these projects is a love of
old iron.
