The Pits forums are down and...
The links on the left don't lead anywhere...:-(
I *WAS* thinking of joining the TPTCC league, but I guess I won't now since
some bug seems to have crawled up Jan's ass...

Have you been around computers/the internet for less than a day? Shit
happens, servers crash, etc.
Not that I know what's going on, but I'm sure you'll be missed in the
TPTCC with an attitude like that ;)

Alot of simracing sites are getting hacked. The Pits is one of them.

1) He probably just screwed something up after an update to the page.
2) I'm sure that you not being in TPTCC will somehow diminish it's
importance.
3) Stop being a***.
I'm not in a position to say any paticulars, yet. Jan has spoken to
TPTCC league members and given some details, but not the full story. But
I think I can safely say goodbye to the uspits as we know it.
The USPITS will not be back in it's previous form,
However,
The TPTCC league will be fully supported by the pits.

If Jan wants to come on and explain things then it will clarify the
details. But this is not just some temporary hack attack.
The league is 3 races into it's winter season. We will be attacking
Estoril next.
If I sound depressed, I think there is good reason. But we also have been
given a ray of hope as well.(Jan better 'splain this, I'll muck it up)

Best of luck Jan with whatever you do in the future, oh, and a Happy New
Year as well.

P.S. Thanks Pits crew, regardless of where this all goes from here.

"After 9 years, 1 month, and 11 days, we had finally had enough.
Sometimes you just have to say "that's it!" We did. We decided we were
going to put up with it no more. The file areas, the archives, the
tools, the forums...gone. And 90% of it will not return. Ever. Period"
Now tell me how I was wrong guy...
Well John...I really would like to but...that happens to be my name...and I
really don't feel like going through the legal process of changing it...
This address has been permanently on every iteration of computer I've owned
since the day I first discovered it, way back when Captain Cook discovered
the east coast of Australia.
What a bummer; I'll miss that site a whole lot.
Regards to Jan and Goy and company.
Bruce.
