Mike told me today that he did not leave Papyrus. Although I'm not
sure if he means that he still is with Papy or if Papy fired him.
He also told me that at Friday 3 guys left Papyrus:
Chris Dilg, PR Manager
Charley Bandes, Producer
Dan Collins, Nascar3 Software Engineer.

I hope that things clarify shortly.

Ok, now it's clear Mike is not at Papy anymore.

Well, anyway you slice it... Mike leaving Papy doesn't seem like good
news for either GPL or (gasp) N3.  Bummer.  Wonder what kind of impact
this will now have on the projected release date of these two sims, and
more importantly, wonder what will now be left on the cutting room
floor?  (After all, Christmas IS getting closer insofar as N3 is
concerned.)

Mr. Reuter,

If you are in contact with these folks, would it be possible for you to
ask them to contact us at Motorsport Simulations?

Thanks

David

Keep in mind Mike wasn't really involved in the development of either sim,
so the answers are none and nothing.

That's good news. I have high hopes for N3.

Some people have a peculiar image of how a large and profitable company
operates.
Do you *really* think that Papyrus, and its products, will come crashing
down simply because one person moves on?
Energies may be redirected, plans may be modified and personnel may be
shuffled but unless the bean-counters have lost the plot completely, the
organisation will continue to provide us with the quality products that
we have become accustomed to.

It's always a wrench to hear that somebody with whom we associate a
particular business is leaving; after all, those people have become the
"face" or "voice" of an otherwise impersonal entity. But I don't believe
that such a situation automatically means that disaster is imminent!!

Calm down, relax, take a Viagra and forget about it......we'll know soon
enough about what will be occurring with the products that we are
awaiting.
