I never thought I'd see the day when MicroSoft left Ferrari! Will we
ever recover?

OK David...this one is way over my head.  What does the picture have to do
with your subject line?

That's a pic of an upcoming 1983 F1 mod for F12001. They just happened to
put Schumacher (look at the helmet) behind the wheel in that development
shot.

When they do a '73 I might actually have to buy the thing.

As it is I'm sticking with MGP until something worth at least $20 more
comes along.

Despite watching every F1 race for the last many years, I pay absolutely no
attention to the helmet designs of any drivers...  That's my excuse, anyway.

With the upcomming release of F1 2002, one has to wonder if these great
mods should be held back and ported directly to the new software when it
becomes available....save some grief down the line when folks can't agree
which version they are running online...ooopsss!

Were all the cars turbocharged by 1983?  I know the Renault was, but I am
not sure about others..Anyone?
and IF the cars have both normal and turbo versions, can the F1 2001 engine
cover both types?
I recently fired up SCGT (a previous ISI product tht should provide a
clue)again for the LeMans track.  One think I noticed...the ease of driving
the Chrysler Dallara vs the Turbo'd Audi A8.  The short block V8 just chugs
through the rev range and the turbo is like instant on....but at least with
my limited dashes, the turbo doesn't appear to rev near as far as the
Chrysler.

No, there were some normally aspirated ones left - Tyrell being the most
notable one that comes to mind, not to forget the Williams, RAM, Ligier,
McLaren, Lotus, Toleman, Arrows, Theodore and Osella (some of these went
turbo during the year).

Okay, I lied - Tyrell was not the most notable...

Anthony.
