"Smart" Penalties in N1

One day at Talladega, I decided to go full speed during a caution, lapping the
 field twice after gaining the lead.  Then, when I got my black flag, and
 served the penalty, it was timed at 1:10!!! Does N1 have a process to make
 black flags "smart"?
