IWCCCARS: Real-time online support

Hello all!  I'm posting this in case anyone is interested in IRC
(Internet Relay Chat).  For those of you who don't know what IRC is,
it is a real-time chat arena, kind of like an Internet CB Radio, where
you can interact with people, send files back and forth, and (with
some IRC clients) send WWW addresses back and forth.  Though not quite
as feature-rich with regards to eye-candy (i.e. online .GIFs, Web
"tours") as PowWow, it allows an unlimited amount of people per
channel.

I have established a channel on DALnet, which can be accessed through
specific ports of some IRC servers.  I will try to get a list of IRC
servers that support DALnet -- meantime, you can connect to
irc.xmission.com, port 7000.  When you connect, go to channel
#iwcccars (don't forget the # sign).  My nickname will be Tony-38 and
I'll try to be on most of the day (although I may not necessarily be
at my terminal.. ;-)).

Send mail via the IWCCCARS guestbook if you have any questions.
Thanks!
