Every meeting has local riders. They could of used the entry list from the 1997
events. I can't see a local rider getting upset about his name being advertised
around the world (although some of the "locals" are now full time SBK or AMA
Superbike contestants.)
However they would of had to use different skins for the bikes. I think if they
use a local riders name they would be upset if they were pictured riding a bike
with rival sponsorship.
Even made up names would of been preferable!
