Can someone tell me exactly how to hook up another set of speakers to my
computer system?  Presently I have Boston Acoutics Media Theater
speakers with a premium sound card.  Listening to CD's is pretty
awesome.  It's better than my home system.  But where do you hook up the
new speakers?  On the soundblaster or where?  Any help on this subject
would be greatly appreciated.

what soundcard do you have?
if ity is anthing below the sb128 in the soundblaster range or it does not
have support for 3d sound then basically you cant, unless you buy an adapter
which allows to speaker plugs to connect to one speaker jack (available form
radio shack or tandy etc) but really its not worth doing because it may mess
with the positioning of the two speaker setupo and sound worse, it will not
have any kind of 3d positioning in this way so you may as well save for a
good card such as the sb live! live! value or monster mx300
a card with 4 speaker support will have two speaker line outs

I have a set of Boston Acoustics Metia Theatre speakers and also find
the sound quality fantastic. In the back of my subwoofer there is a
socket named "surround". Plugging a second set of speakers in here
should work well although I have not tried it myself (yet)

If however you have a soundblaster live then it would be better to plug
the second set into the soundcard itself

hope this helps
