Last night I had a quick Novice Race at Monza - Lap # 4 turned out to
be my fastest so far 1:32:09. How does that rank me? As number
1,000,000? Does anyone have a clue?

Not bad in my estimation. The hotlappers can clock in at under 1:28. My PB
at Monza is 1:31:17 but in race conditions forget it. I always freak out
with all the other cars around and generally crash going into Lesmos or
Para. (either I crash or the fearless AI crashes into me.)

Hello Thomas
I'm the guy below you at Stefan Zscharnack's Modern Legends page.
I think your time would rank you in the bottom third of the 500 or so people
who have appeared online racing GPL. Don't worry though: you will soon do a
1m31, then a 1m30. Breaking through that barrier may take a while, but if
you are dedicated it will come. I race consistently in the low 1m28s now. At
Schubi's you can see dozens of people who have submitted laps in the
1m26.xx, 1m27.xx and 1m28.xx ranges. Obviously it is easier to be quick in
the Lotus and Eagle, but the Ferrari and Brabham are also contenders. Jochen
Froemel can drive the BRM round Monza I think around 1m29.
Good luck and keep trying

Yesterday was another "fastest lap" day - Watkins Glen, Novice Race
1:08,900 - in the good old Ferrari - damn I remember that was a good
lap - everything came out just right - s few laps later I crashed into
a AI car with a failure - there went the race

Are you guys having some fun AI races?
